Climbing Shoe Repair & Return Policy
At Resole, we are committed to delivering high-quality climbing shoe repairs. By submitting your shoes for repair, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Acceptance of Risk
Climbing shoe repair involves inherent risks due to prior wear and material fatigue. By submitting your shoes, you acknowledge and accept that:
β’ Damage may worsen during the repair process
β’ Not all shoes can be restored to their original condition
β’ Results may vary depending on the shoeβs condition

2. Repair Eligibility & Refusal
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:
β’ Refuse any repair deemed unsuitable or structurally compromised
β’ Decline specific models, including La Sportiva Theory and No Edge shoes
β’ Refuse shoes with excessive damage (e.g. large holes)
If a high-risk repair is accepted, it is done:
β’ Only with customer acknowledgment
β’ Without guarantee of outcome or eligibility for refund

3. 30-Day Workmanship Guarantee
Repairs must be reported within 30 days of completion.
This guarantee:
β’ Applies only to defects in workmanship
β’ Does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or subjective performance concerns (e.g. fit, sensitivity, stiffness)
β’ Requires sufficient evidence and may be subject to inspection
After 30 days, all claims are void.

4. Repair Outcomes & Limitations
We aim to restore each pair to the highest achievable standard. However:
β’ Full restoration is not guaranteed
β’ Performance may differ from the original shoe
If a repair is unsuccessful or does not meet our internal quality standards, we reserve sole discretion to determine the appropriate resolution, including:

β’ Partial refund
β’ Store credit or discount

5. Rubber Selection
We aim to use the original rubber specific to your shoe model. If unavailable:
β’ We reserve full discretion to select an alternative
β’ Differences in performance, feel, or durability do not constitute grounds for refund or claim

6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
β’ Providing accurate order details
β’ Dropping off and collecting shoes at the selected location
We are not responsible for issues arising from incorrect information provided by the customer.

7. Liability Limitation
Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the repair service.
We are not liable for:
β’ Loss of use or performance
β’ Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
β’ Any damage resulting from continued use of repaired shoes

8. Wear and Tear
Repaired shoes remain subject to normal wear and deterioration. Repairs extend lifespan but do not prevent future damage.

9. Uncollected Shoes
Shoes not collected within 90 days of notification may be considered abandoned and may be disposed of without compensation.

10. External Factors
We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by circumstances beyond our control, including material shortages or logistical disruptions.

Except as expressly stated, no warranties, express or implied, are provided, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
